The Executive Chairman of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, Hon. (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael, has said Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is on course to record the easiest re-election victory in the history of Kogi State in 2027.

In a statement released on Saturday, Michael attributed the governor’s growing popularity to what he described as a strong record of governance and visible development across the state.

He noted that the administration’s consistent investment in infrastructure, security, healthcare, education, agriculture, and youth empowerment has earned Governor Ododo widespread public support ahead of the next election.

The chairman affirmed that the Kogi West APC caucus stands firmly behind the governor’s re-election bid. He also disclosed that the caucus remains committed to a broader political goal — the “Okun for Governor 2031” agenda — which, according to him, will be pursued through unity and strategic engagement within the party.

Michael called for continued cohesion within the Kogi West APC bloc, describing it as united and focused on strengthening party structures ahead of upcoming elections. He warned against divisive politics driven by personal ambition and urged leaders, youths, women, and support groups to work together in the interest of peace and development.

Highlighting the administration’s achievements, the chairman listed improved security collaboration, road construction, upgrades to healthcare facilities and primary care, education reforms, regular payment of salaries and pensions, agricultural support programs, and empowerment initiatives for youths and women. He said these efforts have boosted public confidence in the APC-led government and placed Kogi State on a path of accelerated growth.

Beyond the state, Michael urged the people of Kabba/Bunu, the Okun nation, and Kogi West to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. He called on voters to turn out massively for both President Tinubu and Governor Ododo, as well as other APC candidates in future elections.

He concluded by charging party members to remain disciplined and united, saying a cohesive APC is best positioned to consolidate on recent gains and deliver more development.
