- Juma Jux Denies Paternity Clai ...

Tanzanian singer Juma Jux has rejected claims that he is the biological father of a seven-year-old child, describing the allegation as false and without basis.
Jux addressed the controversy in a public statement after the claim gained attention on social media, saying he initially chose to remain silent because he did not consider it credible.
However, the singer said he was compelled to respond after the allegation began affecting his reputation, family, businesses and the public image he had built over the years.

According to Jux, the claim is not new, as a similar allegation had previously surfaced involving him.
He said that when the matter first emerged, he made efforts to contact the woman associated with the claim to establish the facts and determine whether there was any truth to the allegation.
Jux said the woman subsequently confirmed that she had never met him physically and that they had never been involved in a romantic relationship.
He added that she asked him at the time not to give the allegation further attention.
The singer said he therefore decided to ignore the matter and continue with his personal and professional activities.
The renewed circulation of the allegation, however, prompted him to break his silence.
Jux expressed concern about the potential consequences of spreading unverified claims about a person’s private life, particularly when such claims are amplified through social media.
He maintained that the allegation has no factual foundation and urged members of the public to be cautious about accepting or sharing claims circulating online without verification.
The singer’s response comes amid growing concerns across the entertainment industry over the speed at which personal allegations can spread on social media.
Public figures are increasingly confronted with claims about their relationships, families and private lives, with some allegations gaining widespread attention before the individuals involved have an opportunity to respond.
For Jux, the issue has moved beyond social media speculation because of what he said are the effects on his family, businesses and reputation.
He said his decision to speak publicly was aimed at setting the record straight and preventing the allegation from continuing to gain traction.
The singer did not indicate that he would pursue legal action over the claim in the statement.
Jux, who has built a significant profile in Tanzania’s music industry, continues to balance his music career with his business interests and public engagements.
His denial places the paternity allegation firmly in dispute, while the singer’s account of his previous interaction with the woman remains his stated basis for rejecting the claim.
