The highly anticipated heavyweight showdown between British boxing icons Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua could still take place at Wembley Stadium.
However, Saudi powerbroker Turki Alalshikh has outlined a strict condition that British authorities must agree to a significantly delayed start time to accommodate a global television audience.
Alalshikh, who is organizing the blockbuster all-British bout, plans to open negotiations with London Mayor Sir Sadiq Khan and other key stakeholders to secure permission for a late-night event in the capital.

To align with prime-time viewing hours in the United States, the contest might need to commence as late as 4:00 a.m. GMT.
“I tell you from the beginning, it depends if England give us all that we need. We want the fight here in England, but we want the time zone of all the world, especially in America,” Alalshikh explained.
He further emphasized that the venue heavily depends on broadcasting logistics rather than local attendance alone.
“If they allowed us to have Wembley late in the night, we want to do it in England. It is about the time and viewership. We will talk with the mayors and Prince Abdullah (bin Khaled bin Sultan),” he added.
Following Alalshikh’s remarks, a spokesperson for the Mayor of London affirmed the city’s readiness to support ambitions to host the mega-fight.
However, the office did not directly confirm whether the unprecedented 4:00 a.m. curfew extension would be granted.
“London is the sporting capital of the world, and the Mayor is working to bring more of the world’s biggest events to the city. London has staged some of the biggest boxing events in recent history at Wembley Stadium, with record crowds of over 90,000 attending heavyweight contests, including Anthony Joshua versus Daniel Dubois and Tyson Fury versus Dillian Whyte,” the spokesperson stated.
Before the two heavyweights can potentially face each other in their proposed November mega-clash, both former world champions are scheduled to return to the ring for separate bouts later this month.
Tyson Fury will face Mariusz Wach in Pattaya, Thailand, on July 24. The following day, Anthony Joshua will take on Kristian Prenga in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on July 25.
