According to initial reports, the incident occurred at Fati Cele’s residence in the Danbare area, where Makaye was found dead under circumstances that have yet to be officially disclosed by authorities. The discovery prompted police intervention and subsequent detention of the social media personality for questioning.

The police have not confirmed whether any suspects have been formally charged, nor have they released medical or forensic findings relating to the cause of death. Investigators are expected to rely on autopsy results and witness statements as part of their ongoing inquiry.

The case has attracted significant public attention, particularly across social media platforms where Fati Cele has a large following. Reactions have been mixed, with some users expressing shock and concern, while others have called for restraint until official findings are released.

Authorities have urged the public to avoid speculation, stressing the importance of allowing due process and a thorough investigation to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the death.

Fati Cele’s detention adds to a growing list of cases involving social media personalities drawing police scrutiny over personal incidents that escalate into public interest matters.

As investigations continue, the Kano State Police Command says further updates will be communicated once more facts are established. For now, the case remains under active investigation, with officials withholding additional information to avoid compromising the process.
