President Bola Tinubu has paid tribute to Nigeria’s fallen military personnel, praising their courage, patriotism, and sacrifices in defending the nation against security threats.
The President made the remarks during a ceremony honoring members of the armed forces who lost their lives in the line of duty. He described the fallen heroes as symbols of national unity and resilience whose contributions would never be forgotten.
Tinubu acknowledged the difficult conditions under which military personnel operate, noting that many have made the ultimate sacrifice to safeguard the country’s territorial integrity and protect citizens from insurgency, banditry, kidnapping, and other security challenges.
“Our soldiers continue to demonstrate exceptional courage and commitment. Their sacrifices remind us of the price of peace and the responsibility we all share in building a secure nation,” the President said.
He assured serving members of the armed forces that the Federal Government remains committed to providing the resources and support necessary for successful security operations. According to him, investments in military equipment, intelligence gathering, and personnel welfare will continue to receive priority attention.
