President Bola Tinubu has extended condolences to the Minister of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, following the death of her mother, Hajiya Fatima Musa Musawa.
The President, in a statement, expressed deep sadness over the loss, noting that the passing came only a few years after the death of the family patriarch, Ambassador Musa Musawa. Hajiya Fatima Musawa died on Saturday, January 13.
Tinubu urged the minister to bear the loss with strength, acknowledging the pain that comes with losing a parent, especially a mother. He said he understands the grief, having experienced a similar loss.
Describing the deceased as a strong pillar of support within her family, the President sympathised with Musawa, her siblings and the entire family during the mourning period.

He prayed for the repose of Hajiya Fatima Musawa’s soul, asking Allah to grant her eternal rest in Al-Jannah Firdaus, and to give the family the fortitude to cope with the loss.
