Kabiru Adediran, the Nigerian Power Slap heavyweight widely known as “Hulk,” has publicly challenged British-Nigerian boxing superstar Anthony Joshua to a fight.
Dispelling rumors that his call-out is merely a social media stunt for engagement, Adediran insists his desire to share the ring with the two-time unified heavyweight champion is entirely genuine.
Speaking in a blend of Yoruba and Pidgin English, the former bodyguard to music star Davido dismissed critics who mocked his ambitions.
He expressed deep admiration for Joshua, calling the boxer his role model and praising his physique and skill.
However, Adediran was highly transparent about his primary motivation: the massive financial transformation such a high-profile bout would bring.
Training at a formidable 120 kilograms (265 pounds), he noted that even a defeat against Joshua would secure a life-changing payday, stating that he simply wants the fight to happen because he will not fight for free.
Beyond the financial incentives, Adediran expressed confidence in his own striking ability and mental fortitude.

Drawing on his experience in the Power Slap championship, where he is known for his devastating knockout power, he warned that his hands are heavy and his mindset is designed to intimidate opponents.
In a separate, more emotional video appeal, he directly urged Joshua to sign a contract, revealing that his current living conditions are poor and that he desperately needs this life-altering opportunity.
Adediran’s journey into combat sports began with boxing and local Nigerian slap competitions on TikTok before he transitioned to the international Power Slap promotion, where he quickly made headlines for his sheer striking force.
While the “Hulk” continues his campaign for a lucrative crossover bout, Joshua remains focused on his professional schedule.
The British-Nigerian champion is currently preparing to face Kristian Prenga in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on July 25, with a highly anticipated showdown against Tyson Fury looming later in the year, provided both men win their upcoming assignments.
