Tacha

In a world where celebrity culture often revolves around high-profile romances and couple goals, former Big Brother Naija housemate Anita Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, is rewriting the narrative.

In a candid recent interview, the reality TV star and entrepreneur revealed that she remains single by choice, stating that her primary focus is currently on her spiritual life and personal development.

Despite her massive fame, financial success, and influential status, Tacha made it clear that she is not in a rush to enter a relationship just for the sake of it. She explained that her standards for a partner remain high and that she has yet to encounter someone who inspires her to give up her independence.

“I’m single because I have not met the right man,” Tacha stated bluntly. “I don’t think I’ve met the right guy who would make me not want to be single anymore.”

For many fans who follow her every move, this revelation was both surprising and empowering. Tacha further clarified that while she isn’t dating a person, her heart is far from empty. She described her current love life as a deep, fulfilling relationship with God, prioritizing her faith above the pressures of societal expectations regarding marriage and dating.

Tacha’s journey to this point has been anything but conventional. She first rose to national prominence during the 2019 “Pepper Dem” season of Big Brother Naija. Her time in the house was marked by bold personality traits and a dramatic exit following an altercation with the eventual winner, Mercy Eke.

While many thought a disqualification would end her career, Tacha has proven the critics wrong. Reflecting on that turbulent period, she noted that the setback was actually a blessing in disguise. Since leaving the show, she has transformed herself into a powerhouse influencer and businesswoman. She credits her remarkable turnaround to a combination of Faith, Consistency and Resilie.

During the interview, the reality star emphasized that she is currently focused on purpose. She believes that her life’s journey serves as proof that setbacks can be converted into stepping stones for greater achievements. By choosing to stay single and focus on her personal growth, she hopes to inspire other young women to value themselves and their goals before seeking external validation through a partner.
