Tinubu highlighted the importance of strengthening care systems, community support, and social protection, especially as populations age and related challenges increase.
She reminded Nigerians that aging is inevitable, saying today’s youth will become tomorrow’s elderly, and must therefore build a culture of respect and care.
The First Lady also called for continued recognition of the sacrifices and wisdom of older citizens, urging collective responsibility in ensuring they are not neglected or abandoned.
