President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Lagos after official visits to France, Kenya, and Rwanda, where he held high-level meetings with global investors, world leaders, and multilateral institutions focused on economic reforms and investment opportunities.

The President arrived at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport around 7:12pm on Friday and was received by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Femi Hamzat, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, and Speaker Mudashiru Obasa, among other senior officials.

During his engagements in France, President Tinubu met investors and outlined his administration’s commitment to transparency, fiscal discipline, and ongoing economic reforms aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s investment climate.

In Kenya, he participated in the Africa Forward Summit co-hosted by Presidents Emmanuel Macron and William Ruto, where he advocated for reforms in global financial systems and deeper African economic integration, while also highlighting Nigeria’s blue economy potential and maritime cooperation across the Gulf of Guinea.

In Rwanda, the President joined African leaders and global CEOs at the Africa CEO Forum, where discussions centred on accelerating continental growth through trade, investment, and regional collaboration. He also held bilateral talks with President Paul Kagame and met representatives of the IFC, APM Terminals, and Winme Group.

President Tinubu is expected to participate in the All Progressives Congress primary elections in Lagos, where he has urged party members to maintain peace and conduct the exercise in a spirit of unity and sportsmanship.
