The Nigeria Police Force has commenced disciplinary and legal proceedings against officers allegedly involved in an incident concerning the Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) in Abuja.

Authorities confirmed that the officers have been arraigned before a competent court following preliminary investigations into the incident, which drew public attention and raised concerns over conduct within the force.

Police headquarters stated that the move underscores its zero-tolerance policy for misconduct, adding that any personnel found guilty would face the full weight of the law.
