Call of Duty: Mobile (COD: M) Africa has recruited one of Africa’s most recognisable creators, Asherkine, bringing him together with top African content creators to showcase the exceptional features of the game.
Why now?
COD: M Africa has been actively refining the gaming culture and has spent the past year building infrastructure for creators and esports athletes. In March 2026, the brand ran Creator College, a five-day, fully funded programme designed to build the next generation of African Call of Duty: Mobile content creators through hands-on workshops and peer-to-peer learning.
Alongside tournaments that brought creators together from across Africa, these initiatives pushed talent toward larger audiences and sharper craft.
Asherkine joining their creators program, which is exclusively for African influencers, comes as no surprise, as he has been seen on different streams playing the game and has been an active member of the community as the game has captured the attention of Africa’s biggest internet sensations.
“Partnering with a brand like Call of Duty: Mobile is exciting for me, and this is something I am passionate about,” Asherkine said.
What players can expect
Throughout the campaign, Asherkine, alongside Nigerian creators such as Kingplays, Queen Favyy, PrimeGaming, Virgo, and Sxntos, will be giving away premium in-game items, Carry1st gems, organising tournaments, and creating content.
Players who join can expect entry points into ranked play, visibility for their own content, and direct access to a community that rewards showing up and staying consistent.
“I want people to know that even if they download Call of Duty: Mobile today, no one is left behind. The community is active, and there are a lot of creators we want to support who deserve global recognition.” – Asherkine.
For context, Legendary is the highest rank a player can achieve in Call of Duty: Mobile.
