Galatasaray just secured their 26th Turkish Super Lig title, and Victor Osimhen was the man who made it happen.
The Nigerian striker scored two crucial goals on Saturday to help his team pull off a dramatic 4-2 comeback victory over Antalyaspor at RAMS Park.
This win handed Galatasaray their fourth straight championship, matching a club record they previously set between 1996 and 2000.
The game did not start out as the smooth title party the home fans expected. Antalyaspor actually took the lead right before half-time through a goal from Soner Dikmen, heavily silencing the crowd.
Galatasaray managed to find an equalizer in the 56th minute when substitute Mario Lemina found the back of the net. However, the visitors struck again just six minutes later, with Dikmen scoring his second goal of the night to make it 2-1.

With the pressure mounting, Osimhen took total control of the situation. In the 66th minute, the Super Eagles striker won a penalty and confidently converted it himself to tie the game. He did not stop there.
With the clock winding down in the 88th minute, Osimhen stepped up again and drilled home a powerful shot to put Galatasaray ahead for the first time in the match. Substitute Kaan Ayhan then added a final goal deep into stoppage time to seal the 4-2 victory.
This title carries a lot of personal weight for Osimhen. He has been in incredible form, scoring or assisting in his last 11 league appearances.
After joining the club on a permanent deal following a successful loan spell last season, he has now added another major trophy to his growing collection, which already includes the Serie A title and the U-17 World Cup.
For the team, the victory brings immediate rewards. Going into the match, Galatasaray had a four-point lead over rivals Fenerbahce and only needed a positive result to officially claim the title.
To motivate the squad, the club management reportedly promised a €5 million bonus and several days off if they delivered the championship at home.
Manager Okan Buruk had previously cancelled their holiday plans after a shocking 4-1 loss to Samsunspor last weekend, but the players can now finally enjoy the massive celebrations waiting for them on the streets of Istanbul.
