Four Nigerian music stars have secured places on the official soundtrack album for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, further cementing the global influence of Afrobeats on the international entertainment scene.
FIFA unveiled the 18-track project ahead of the tournament scheduled to be hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico. The album features some of the biggest names in global music and is designed to promote unity through football and entertainment.
The Nigerian contingent includes Davido, Burna Boy, Rema and Ayra Starr, all of whom appear alongside internationally acclaimed artistes from Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia. According to the tracklist released by FIFA Sound, Rema features on “Goals” alongside Lisa and Anitta, while Davido appears on “No Place Like Home” with Major Lazer and Nelly Furtado. Ayra Starr collaborates with Latto on “Show Me,” while Burna Boy teams up with Shakira on “Dai Dai.”
