The Traffic NG

Alive Television has evolved into Alive News Network (ANN), marking a major repositioning of the media organisation as it prepares to expand its journalism and broadcasting operations across Africa and beyond.

With studios in Lagos and Abuja, ANN said its 2026 repositioning is driven by an ambition to build one of Africa’s most credible media institutions, with a focus on journalism that tells the continent’s stories with depth, accuracy and global relevance.

The network is currently developing its operations ahead of a full launch later this year, with daily news programming, live broadcasts, original documentary productions and correspondent reporting from across Africa and other parts of the world already in development.

ANN’s live broadcasts are currently available online, while the network continues preparations for its wider programming rollout.

The organisation said its emergence goes beyond the transformation of a television station, describing ANN as a platform designed to become a home for journalism capable of giving African stories the weight and attention they deserve.

ANN can be accessed at ANN.Africa, while its live broadcasts are available on its YouTube channel.

The network is expected to unveil more of its programming and operations as preparations for the full launch continue.
