- Tonto Dikeh Urges Nigerians To ...

Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has cautioned Nigerians against assuming that wealthy individuals acquire their fortunes through money rituals or other questionable activities, insisting that many successful people built their wealth through years of hard work.
Dikeh made the remarks while addressing members of her newly established ministry, New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle (NWPT), where she encouraged them to recognise the value of their abilities and pursue opportunities for personal development.
The actress urged her listeners to stop attributing every display of wealth to spiritual manipulation, ritual practices or immoral activities, stressing that financial success can also result from dedication, discipline and consistent effort.
According to her, some wealthy individuals spent several years working towards their goals before achieving financial stability and building successful businesses.

She maintained that people should not allow negative assumptions about wealthy individuals to discourage them from pursuing their own ambitions.
Dikeh also encouraged members of the ministry to identify and develop their talents, noting that many people already possess gifts and abilities that could become sources of income if properly nurtured.
She stressed that individuals should focus on discovering what they can do, improving their skills and using their abilities to create opportunities for themselves.
Her message centred on the importance of personal responsibility, self-development and the need to recognise the economic value of individual talents.
The actress’s comments come amid widespread conversations in Nigeria about wealth creation, unexplained affluence and allegations of ritual practices among some wealthy individuals.
Public discussions about sudden wealth have frequently generated speculation, particularly on social media, where displays of expensive lifestyles sometimes attract questions about the sources of people’s fortunes.
Dikeh’s position challenged the tendency to associate financial success automatically with illegal or supernatural practices, arguing that hard work and years of commitment also contribute to wealth creation.
The actress, who has built a career in the Nigerian entertainment industry, has increasingly been involved in religious activities through her newly established ministry.
Her latest message also reflects a broader call for Nigerians to explore entrepreneurship, develop professional skills and take advantage of opportunities within their areas of strength.
She urged members of her congregation to stop overlooking their abilities and instead invest time and effort in developing them.
According to Dikeh, recognising and using one’s talents could provide a pathway towards financial independence and personal fulfilment.
Her remarks have added to ongoing conversations about faith, wealth creation and the importance of hard work in achieving financial success.
