Tinubu Signs North-Central Development Commission Bill Into Law

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has signed the North-Central Development Commission (NCDC) bill into law.
The announcement was made by Senate President Godswill Akpabio during a plenary session on Tuesday.
“Let me also inform my colleagues that Mr. President has assented to the North-Central Development Commission establishment bill 2024, in order to bring development to the grassroots,” Akpabio stated.
He congratulated the people of the North-Central region and expressed hope that the commission would enhance development and foster peace in the area.
Meanwhile, Akpabio made the announcement just a day after the president signed a bill to establish a Federal University of Environmental Technology in Ogoni, Rivers State.
