American cruiserweight, Jake Paul, is seeking a rematch against former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua following his recovery from a severe jaw injury suffered during their December 2025 bout.

Most Valuable Promotions co-founder Nakisa Bidarian confirmed that Paul has received full medical clearance to resume boxing and is actively looking for his next opponent. Joshua knocked out Paul in the sixth round at the Kaseya Center in Miami, leaving the 29-year-old with a double jaw fracture that required two surgical procedures and an extended medical suspension.

Speaking in an interview with Sun Sport, Bidarian revealed that Paul remains keen on facing either Joshua or Tyson Fury depending on the outcome of their upcoming blockbuster clash.

“Truthfully, he wants to fight Anthony Joshua again,” Bidarian said. “That to him is ideal, but I think he was saying he’d fight either guy.”

Joshua and Fury are scheduled to meet on December 11 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, with the WBA super heavyweight title on the line. Despite concerns from analysts about how a severe jaw injury might alter a boxer’s willingness to trade punches, Bidarian noted that Paul dismissed any psychological lingering effects from the knockout loss.

“Honestly, what he said to me was, ‘Dude, none of that shit hurt,'” Bidarian added. “‘Even when he broke my jaw, yeah, it was a zinger, but I wasn’t like, oh my god, it’s hurting so bad. I love this, I’m a bigger dog than I’ve ever been, and I want to come back and kill.’ That’s his perspective.”
