Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogbomoso on Monday staged a massive rally to endorse President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for re-election ahead of the 2027 general elections, signaling a unified front among party leaders and members in the zone.
The open-air gathering, held at Soun Ogunlola Hall in Oja’gbo, Ogbomoso, was organized under the banner of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors initiative and led by former Senate Leader and prominent party figure Senator Teslim Folarin.

In his keynote address, Folarin urged party faithful to carry the message of what he described as Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda” to grassroots communities across Oyo State. He emphasized that mobilizing voters and educating citizens about the quality of leadership offered by President Tinubu would be crucial to securing victory in the 2027 polls.
A number of high-profile APC leaders were present at the rally, including Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communications, Sunday Dare, Senator Abdulfatai Buhari, Senator Sarafadeen Alli, Senator Yunus Akintunde and other party stalwarts.

Also addressing the crowd, former First Lady and Ambassador-designate Mrs. Florence Ajimobi called for unity and peace within the party, urging members to sustain harmony as they work toward both Tinubu’s re-election and the APC’s bid to reclaim the Agodi Government House in the 2027 Oyo State governorship contest.
A major highlight of the event was the formal endorsement of President Tinubu for a second term and the reception of hundreds of defectors from other political parties into the APC from Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South, Oriire, Ogo-Oluwa, and Surulere local government areas.
Other stakeholders who spoke at the rally stressed renewed unity and organisational strength in the party, vowing to intensify grassroots mobilisation and collective efforts to deliver a decisive victory in the forthcoming elections.
