President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State as Renewed Hope Ambassador and Deputy Director-General for the All Progressives Congress (APC), tasking him with leading party outreach, engagement, and mobilisation. The appointment takes immediate effect.
As Renewed Hope Ambassador, Governor Sani will work closely with the Director-General of the initiative and the APC hierarchy, including the National Chairman, to ensure strategic coordination, inclusiveness, and harmony across all levels of the party’s mobilisation efforts.
President Tinubu cited Sani’s leadership and organisational abilities as key reasons for the appointment, emphasizing his role in promoting and disseminating the party’s programmes, policies, milestones, and achievements to strengthen public confidence.
In a letter to Governor Sani, the President highlighted the broader objective of the appointment: “To ensure that the entire citizenry is aware of, understands, and ultimately supports our party and its candidates at all levels for broad national acceptance in the 2027 election. Preparation is critical and essential to achieving this outcome, and your leadership will be central to guiding this process effectively and strategically.”
