Sanusi Praises Otti, Says Abia’s Progress Gaining Global Attention

The Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has praised Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, for what he described as remarkable achievements recorded within two years of his administration, noting that the impact of the governor’s reforms has attracted attention beyond the state and Nigeria.

Sanusi made the remarks while speaking at a public event, where he highlighted Abia’s visible transformation under Otti’s leadership. According to the former Central Bank governor, the pace and scale of development in the state have set it apart, making it a reference point for good governance.

He noted that prudent management of resources has enabled the Abia government to execute key projects despite prevailing economic challenges.
