Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has extended Ramadan greetings to Muslim faithful across the country, urging prayers for national peace, unity, and prosperity as the holy month begins.
In a message released Wednesday, the First Lady congratulated Muslims on the commencement of Ramadan and prayed that the sacred period would bring peace, joy, and spiritual fulfillment to families and the nation at large. She emphasized the importance of using the fasting period to reflect on Nigeria’s collective wellbeing and to seek divine guidance for the country’s future.
She encouraged citizens to remember the nation in their prayers, expressing hope for greater stability and economic progress. According to her, Ramadan offers a special opportunity for spiritual renewal and national reflection.
The First Lady also prayed for forgiveness, acceptance of supplications, and answered prayers for all faithful observing the fast, closing her message with wishes for a blessed Ramadan season.
