First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, visited the family of the late Chief Adekunle Ojora in Ikoyi, Lagos, to offer condolences and celebrate the industrialist’s legacy of promoting religious harmony in Nigeria.

During the visit, the First Lady praised Ojora as a devout Muslim whose life consistently fostered understanding between faiths. She highlighted his role as a mentor and source of wisdom, expressing that both she and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu held him in high regard.

“You have always been in my mind and that of the president. We cannot forget him. He was always there with us as a family,” she said, commending the late industrialist’s enduring influence.

Oluremi Tinubu also extended words of comfort to the widow, Erelu Ojuolape Ojora, praising her resilience as the family matriarch and the inspirational bond she shared with her late husband.

Recounting her encounters with Ojora during church services despite his Islamic faith, the First Lady emphasized that his life serves as a model for religious tolerance and community leadership.

The visit was warmly received by the Ojora family, led by the matriarch, who prayed for the continued success of President Tinubu and his wife. Chief Adekunle Ojora, aged 93, passed away on January 28, 2026, and was laid to rest according to Islamic rites.

The condolence visit underscores the Tinubu administration’s recognition of Ojora’s contributions to Nigeria’s industrial and social development.
