Regina Daniels

In an emotional turn of events that has gripped the Nigerian entertainment scene this December, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has finally spoken out about an escalating domestic dispute involving her children and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

In a series of poignant revelations shared online, the actress painted a picture of a mother in pain, alleging that she has been forced into a separation from her kids that is anything but peaceful.

The crisis, which surfaced in mid-December 2025, centers on allegations of a strategic move by the Senator to strip the actress of her parental rights. Regina alleged that she has not had contact with her children since mid-November, claiming that her nannies were dismissed and allegedly pressured into making false statements against her.

According to the actress, these statements which accused her of alcohol abuse and violence were allegedly orchestrated in the presence of the children to build a case for full custody.

“No mother can truly be at peace while separated from her children,” Regina stated, addressing her followers in a video that quickly went viral. She explained that while she initially chose silence to prevent an online spectacle, the continued public exposure of the children by their father forced her hand.

Regina expressed deep concern over what she described as the “deliberate” public display of the kids during such a sensitive period. She questioned the motivations of a lawmaker and public figure using the children for media engagement, suggesting that the actions shifted from responsible parenting to mere attention-seeking.

The actress also revealed that Senator Nwoko has officially filed for full custody, a move she described as an aggressive challenge to her motherhood. Despite her young age, a point often cited in public discourse about her marriage Regina emphasized that she finds her greatest joy in being a mother and is devastated by the current logistical and emotional barriers preventing her from caring for her sons.

“It took time for me to finally walk away,” she admitted, noting that she refused to let the pain of the situation imprison her. She clarified that her public stepping-back was a conscious choice to maintain her sanity, rather than a sign of defeat.

The “billionaire wife” narrative that has followed Regina for years has shifted into a sobering legal and emotional battle. The actress ended her statement on a defiant note, declaring her intention to fight for her children.

She expressed unwavering confidence that she would be reunited with them soon, turning what was once a private family matter into a national conversation about custodial rights and the pressures of celebrity parenting.
