The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has extended a heartfelt New Year message to Nigerians, emphasizing hope, unity, and the importance of investing in the nation’s future.
In her 2026 message titled “Hope on the Horizon”, she called on citizens to uphold values of peace, empathy, and solidarity as the country enters the New Year.
Senator Tinubu expressed gratitude to God Almighty for seeing Nigerians through the past year and for the promise of a better future. She highlighted the enduring spirit of Nigerians, commending their courage, creativity, and unwavering belief in progress despite challenges.
“The past year reaffirmed the enduring spirit of Nigerians: our courage, our strength, our creativity, and our unwavering belief in a better tomorrow,” she said.
The First Lady praised women, men, and young people across the country who continue to work tirelessly to uplift their families, communities, and the nation.
She noted that their efforts, whether in education, business, social initiatives, or community service, are critical in shaping a brighter Nigeria.
As Nigerians usher in 2026, Senator Tinubu urged all citizens to create opportunities in their respective spaces that allow every individual to thrive with dignity. “Let us embrace peace, empathy, unity and continue to invest in the wellbeing of our children, women and the vulnerable among us,” she said.
