First Lady, Kebbi

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has urged Christians to use the Lenten season as a period of spiritual renewal while offering prayers for peace and prosperity in the country.

In her Lenten message released Wednesday, the First Lady described the period as a time for self-reflection, spiritual growth, and drawing closer to God through the example of Christ’s love. She encouraged faithful to strengthen their commitment to compassion, kindness, and deeper relationships with others.

According to her, prayers and acts of charity during Lent should not only deepen personal faith but also contribute to unity and harmony in society. She appealed to Christians nationwide to remember Nigeria in their prayers, expressing hope for continued peace and national progress.

The First Lady wished citizens a blessed and fulfilling Lenten season, emphasizing the importance of faith-driven action and collective responsibility during the solemn period.
