Nigerian midfielder Ifeanyi Nnadi has expressed excitement and gratitude after receiving a surprise call-up to the Super Eagles squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Nnadi, who plays his club football in Europe, revealed in an interview that the invitation came as a pleasant shock, describing it as a dream come true to represent his country at a major continental tournament. He expressed determination to make a meaningful contribution to the team’s campaign.
