The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2026 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The mock exam, conducted ahead of the main UTME, is designed to familiarize candidates with the computer-based testing system and assess their readiness.
JAMB officials said the results are now accessible to candidates, who are advised to review their performance and make necessary improvements before the main examination.

The board reiterated that the mock exercise is optional and does not affect candidates’ chances in the actual UTME.
Earlier, JAMB had warned candidates against examination malpractice and urged early registration to avoid last-minute challenges.
Education stakeholders say the mock exam plays a critical role in preparing candidates, particularly those unfamiliar with digital testing formats.
Candidates who participated in the exercise have expressed varied reactions, with some praising the smooth conduct while others called for improvements in technical support.
JAMB assured that lessons learned from the mock exam would be used to enhance the conduct of the main UTME.
Meanwhile, the board has maintained that strict measures will be enforced to ensure a credible and transparent examination process.
