President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Nigeria’s Minister of Health, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, and development expert, Ms. Aisha Makanju, following their inclusion in the prestigious Devex Power 50 list, which recognises the most influential voices in global development.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Tinubu described the recognition as a testament to Nigeria’s growing impact in global policy and development circles. He commended both awardees for projecting the country positively through innovation, professionalism and results-driven leadership.
The President praised Prof. Pate for his reforms in the health sector, noting that his leadership has strengthened Nigeria’s engagement with international partners while driving domestic health system improvements.
