The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has celebrated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 74th birthday, praying for divine health, strength, peace and continued wisdom as he leads the nation.

In a birthday message, the First Lady expressed gratitude to God for the president’s life, describing his new age as another opportunity for service and national impact.

“To God be all the glory for the gift of life and yet another birthday,” she said, adding that she prayed for God’s continued guidance as the president works to steer Nigeria toward what she called an “Eldorado of great wealth and opportunities.”

She wished him “divine health, strength, joy and peace” in his leadership journey and reaffirmed her support and affection for him.

In a personal and emotional note, she also referred to the president as “Akanbi, omo olodo ide,” a Yoruba expression symbolising honour and nobility.

The First Lady further declared her love and pride in the president, saying, “I love you and I am so proud of you.”

President Tinubu, who marked his 74th birthday on Saturday, continues to lead Nigeria under his Renewed Hope agenda, with focus on economic reforms, infrastructure development and national security.

His administration has faced both support and criticism over ongoing economic policies, with government officials maintaining that reforms are aimed at long-term stability and growth despite short-term challenges.

The president has traditionally observed his birthday in a low-key manner, often using the occasion for reflection on national progress and unity.

Senator Tinubu’s message joins several goodwill tributes from political leaders, associates and citizens across the country marking the president’s milestone.

As he enters another year in office, calls for unity and patience continue to accompany discussions around his administration’s reform-driven agenda.
