Kola Daniel Adeyanju, Special Assistant on Media to the National Sports Commission Director-General, Honourable Bukola Olopade, has expressed his gratitude and excitement after being appointed to the 28-man Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for the 2027 Africa School Games in Abuja.

According to the erudite sports administrator, “It’s a privilege to be part of this committee. I am humbled by the opportunity to serve my nation and contribute to the success of this international event.”

Adeyanju, who has previously served on the Federal Government’s 40-man LOC for Aisha Buhari’s Tournament in Abuja, is no stranger to hard work and dedication. He attributes his appointment to the recognition of his efforts and commitment to Nigerian sports.

“I want to thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for this opportunity, and my principals, Alhaji Shehu Dikko and Honourable Bukola Olopade, for believing in me,” Adeyanju said. “I am committed to giving my best and ensuring the success of the 2027 Africa School Games.”

As a member of the LOC, Adeyanju is eager to work with his colleagues to deliver a memorable event that showcases Nigeria’s capabilities and hospitality. “It’s a call to National duty, and I am ready to answer,” he said.
