The All Progressives Congress (APC) Convention Legacy and Rapporteur Committee is set to hold its third meeting on Tuesday night as preparations intensify for the party’s national convention.

The committee, chaired by Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, will convene virtually at 9 p.m. on March 24, 2026. A follow-up physical meeting is scheduled to take place in Abuja on Wednesday.

According to information from the committee’s secretariat, members will review key updates and insights gathered during preparatory sessions held over the weekend. The secretariat is expected to brief the full committee on progress made so far and outline next steps ahead of the convention.

The Convention Legacy and Rapporteur Committee plays a critical role in documenting the entire proceedings of the APC national convention. Its responsibilities also include compiling and preserving legacy data and official records that will shape the party’s institutional memory.

Party sources say the dual format of virtual and in-person meetings is aimed at ensuring broad participation and effective coordination among members, as the APC finalizes arrangements for the high-profile gathering.

The APC national convention is expected to bring together party leaders, delegates, and stakeholders from across the country to deliberate on key issues and set the direction for the ruling party.
