According to the President, under her stewardship, Sustainable Energy for All has supported more than 100 countries and helped mobilise commitments exceeding $1.6 trillion in energy finance, marking a major milestone in international climate and development efforts.

Tinubu described the recognition as a testament to Ogunbiyi’s professionalism, resilience, and dedication to service, adding that her success highlights Nigeria’s capacity to produce global leaders capable of addressing complex development challenges.

“Ogunbiyi’s achievement not only reflects personal excellence but also underscores Nigeria’s growing influence and leadership in shaping innovative and impactful solutions to global development challenges,” the President stated.

He further applauded her role in elevating Nigeria’s profile on the international stage, particularly in the area of sustainable energy and climate advocacy.

Her recognition by TIME places her among a select group of global changemakers whose work continues to redefine the future of energy and environmental sustainability.

President Tinubu concluded by wishing Ogunbiyi continued success in her future endeavours, expressing confidence that she will sustain her contributions to global progress and inspire more Nigerians to excel on the world stage.
