Founder-in-Chief of the pro-administration advocacy group Relax! Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN), Mr. Seyi Tinubu, has inaugurated state coordinators of the group across Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, urging them to demonstrate commitment, discipline and grassroots engagement in advancing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The inauguration ceremony, held on Wednesday in Abuja, marked a major expansion of RTIFN’s national structure and signaled the group’s intention to deepen public engagement and information dissemination on government policies and reforms.
Although Seyi Tinubu was unavoidably absent, his message was delivered by the National Coordinator, Hon. Ahmed Bala, who described the newly appointed coordinators as the operational backbone of the movement. He said the coordinators would serve as critical links between the federal government’s reform agenda and communities across the country.
“Each coordinator represents a vital connection between our national vision and the grassroots. Your leadership will determine the unity, strength and effectiveness of this organisation,” Bala said, stressing that integrity, collaboration and accountability would be central to their roles.
RTIFN, a youth-driven advocacy platform, was formed to counter misinformation, promote accurate communication on government reforms and encourage patience among citizens amid ongoing economic adjustments. The group positions itself as a bridge between policymakers and ordinary Nigerians, particularly at the grassroots level.
Speaking to journalists at the event, the group’s Matron and former Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, Hajiya Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, who represented Seyi Tinubu, explained that the name RTIFN reflects a belief in continuous national reform rather than instant solutions.
She highlighted key policy decisions of the Tinubu administration, including fuel subsidy removal, tax reforms and foreign exchange adjustments, describing them as difficult but necessary steps toward long-term stability. According to her, early signs of improvement, such as easing food prices and increased international recognition of Nigeria, reflect progress under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Aliyu urged Nigerians to exercise patience, likening the reform process to childbirth, where temporary pain precedes lasting joy. “There is no progress without sacrifice. We tell Nigerians to relax because Tinubu is fixing Nigeria,” she said.
She charged the newly inaugurated coordinators to be empathetic, accessible and committed to national unity, urging them to engage directly with underserved communities and help cushion the effects of ongoing reforms through advocacy and information.
Also speaking, National Secretary of RTIFN, Dr. Felix O. Arome, described the organisation as a youth-based movement driven by patriotism and a desire to protect national stability from misinformation. He said the group aims to ensure that citizens are properly informed about government policies and their long-term benefits.
“The essence of RTIFN is to stand in the gap, to ensure that misinformation does not derail the future we are trying to build,” Arome said.

The coordinators were formally administered their oath of office, followed by a briefing on reporting structures and operational guidelines. The event was attended by prominent political figures, including Senator Osita Izunaso and the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Student and Youth Engagement, Comrade Sunday Ashefon.
RTIFN said it would continue to expand its presence at state, local government and community levels to strengthen public engagement with the Renewed Hope Agenda.
