Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has issued a stern ultimatum to his players, warning that anyone unable to cope with the immense pressure of the Premier League title race should “be part of a different club.”
The Gunners currently sit two points clear at the top of the table as they chase their first league title in 22 years. However, a recent dip in form, winning only two of their last seven league matches, has allowed Manchester City to close a once-comfortable five-point gap.
The pressure reached a boiling point following Wednesday’s disappointing 2-2 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers, where Arsenal surrendered a two-goal lead and conceded a 94th-minute equalizer. The result reignited external claims that the squad lacks the mental fortitude to finish the season as champions.

Addressing the media ahead of Sunday’s high-stakes North London derby against Tottenham Hotspur, Arteta dismissed the “bottlers” label and challenged his players to embrace the scrutiny.
“You ask them the question: do you want to be part of the noise? Or not?” Arteta said. “If not, go and do something else, be part of a different club.”
The Spaniard emphasized that the club has spent over a decade fighting to return to this elite level, and the accompanying pressure is a privilege of success.
“Everybody has been demanding for 10 years, 15 years that we need to go back there [fighting for the title] and now we are there. And now what? You don’t want noise? Noise is part of it and the bullets are part of that,” he added.
Having finished as runners-up in each of the last three seasons, Arsenal is desperate to avoid another late-season collapse.
Arteta’s blunt message serves as a rallying cry for a squad that must now navigate a tightening title race and a hostile atmosphere at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
