Trump Slams Hysteria: Elon Musk Can Never Be President, Here's Why

In a fiery statement that has reignited political chatter, U.S. President-elect Donald Trump declared that Elon Musk will never become the President of the United States, despite growing rumors and speculation about the billionaire's influence on American politics.
Speaking to supporters in Arizona, Trump dismissed the idea that Musk, the world’s richest person and owner of X (formerly Twitter), could ever take the reins of the White House.
“No, he’s not taking the presidency. He’s not going to be president, that I can tell you,” Trump said firmly, addressing the hysteria surrounding Musk’s potential rise to power. Trump added, “You know why he can’t be? He wasn’t born in this country.”
The remarks come amidst swirling rumors fueled by Musk's increasing political influence and his pivotal role in Trump’s shocking return to the White House after his victory in the November election.
Trump used his platform to deflate what he called a “hoax,” slamming political opponents for perpetuating the narrative. “It’s all just a hoax,” Trump emphasized, reinforcing that the presidency would remain in his hands despite any wild theories.
Musk, originally from South Africa, became a key backer of Trump, offering substantial support both financially and publicly. After surviving an assassination attempt, Musk funneled around $200 million into a Political Action Committee (PAC) supporting Trump, raising alarms among Democratic leaders concerned about the influence of an unelected billionaire on U.S. politics.
The influence of Musk in Trump’s victory and the controversy surrounding their alliance has left many questioning the power dynamics in modern American politics. With Trump calling the speculation “fake news,” it seems clear that the president-elect is not ready to hand over the political reins to anyone—no matter how powerful or wealthy.
As the narrative continues to unfold, it remains clear that Trump is drawing a hard line: Musk will never occupy the Oval Office, no matter the headlines.
