TotalEnergies, Garima Petroleum…Dangote refinery announces new fuel distribution partners

The Dangote Refinery has announced the addition of several oil marketing companies to its distribution network, including :
- New Partners:
    - TotalEnergies: A multinational energy company
    - Garima Petroleum: An oil marketing company that has expressed optimism about the direct supply deal, noting it will benefit both marketers and consumers
    - Sunbeth Energies: Another oil marketing company joining the network
    - Other partners: Sobaz Nigeria Ltd, Virgin Forest Energy, Sixxco Oil Ltd, NU Synergy Ltd, Soroman Nigeria Ltd, Jezco Oil Nigeria Ltd., Jengre, Cocean, Kifayat, Triumph Golden, Sifem Global, Riquest, and Mamu Oil

The Dangote Refinery has invested over N720 billion to implement its initiative of deploying 4,000 Compressed Natural Gas-powered trucks for nationwide distribution of petroleum products. This move is expected to :
- Save Nigerians over N1.7 trillion annually
- Lower energy costs for over 42 million micro, small, and medium enterprises
- Reduce pump prices and inflation

The refinery has also reduced its ex-depot price for petrol to N840 per liter and plans to commence nationwide fuel distribution next month. Existing partners like MRS, Heyden, Ardova, Hyde, Optima, and Techno Oil are expected to reflect the new pricing at their retail outlets .
