Tinubu Assembles Top Brass, Ex Governors To End Benue Killings.
President Bola Tinubu is assembling top government officials, retired generals, and other stakeholders to address the recent violent attacks in Benue State. Over 200 people were reportedly killed in Yelewata, Guma LGA, sparking widespread outrage and calls for action.

The Benue State House of Assembly has condemned the killings, with lawmakers accusing Governor Hyacinth Alia and the 32 lawmakers of failing to protect their communities. The United Nations has also strongly condemned the attacks, calling for a comprehensive investigation and swift justice.
