Super Eagles Head Coach Éric Chelle Visits Key Super Eagles Players Ahead of FIFA World Cup Qualifiers

Super Eagles head coach, Éric Chelle, alongside his first assistant, Hedi Taboubi, commenced visits to key Nigerian players ahead of the crucial FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

As part of his familiarization process, Chelle met with Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi, and Moses Simon to establish a strong rapport with his squad.

His tour began in England, where he engaged with Iwobi and Ndidi, offering words of encouragement to the Leicester City midfielder, who is currently recovering from injury. Chelle expressed optimism about Ndidi’s recovery and his potential return to full fitness soon.

The head coach then traveled to France to meet Moses Simon, attending Nantes’ recent home match, which ended in a 2-0 defeat. His presence signaled his commitment to understanding his players’ current form and club performances.

Chelle is expected to arrive in Nigeria next week to further integrate himself into the national team setup as he begins a new chapter with the Super Eagles.
