President Appoints New DG for DSS

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Adeola Ajayi as the new Director-General of the Department of State Service (DSS), following the resignation of the previous Director-General, Yusuf Magaji Bichi ¹. Ajayi, who rose through the ranks to attain his current post of Assistant Director-General of the Service, has served as State Director in various states, including Bauchi, Enugu, Bayelsa, Rivers, and Kogi ¹. Tinubu also appointed Ambassador Mohammed Mohammed as the new Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) ¹. The President expects the new security chiefs to work together to improve the country's security situation and tackle security challenges through collaboration with sister agencies and the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) ¹.
