OGBOMOSO AND THE GARRULOUS AND VITRIOLIC IMAM - THE NEED TO TAKE ACTION NOW!

Since the emergence of the so called and acclaimed Chief Imam of Ogbomosoland in a controversial manner, Ogbomosoland has not witness peace and rest.

The case seems to be proving right the old adage that says "a family enjoys peace as long as the bastards in the house are underage."

It has reach a point that all well meaning Ogbomoso sons and daughters need to rise up and say enough is enough.

If urgent actions are not taken, this garulous and vitriolic Imam will set Ogbomoso on fire and that is exactly the long year aim of the enemies of Ogbomosoland.

The divisive politics he plays, religious incitements, radicalization of the youth, insulting bravery he is demonstrating against the referred Soun Stool and the coordinated external supports he is getting are indications that all is not well in Ogbomosoland. We are all sitting on the keg of gun powder.

Let me quickly refresh our memories and provide information for the young and the innocents.

I remember several years ago, probably in the late eighties and early nineties, there was a report from one of the Baptist conferences held around Ogbomoso that there was a sinister's agenda by the murderous Islamic Jihadists to attack The Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, The Baptist Hospital, Ogbomoso and all notable Baptist Churches in Ogbomosoland. The rationales behind the attack as reported were:

1. That the Baptist Theological Seminary is where Pastors are being raised and trained. In the warped minds of the murderous Jihadists, if the seminary is raised down, Christianity will surfer setback in Ogbomosoland and Nigeria.
2. That The Baptist Hospital Ogbomoso is fulfilling Christian mission goals. Of course, the primary goal of the Baptist Hospital Ogbomoso is soul winning through healthcare provision. Destroying the hospital means nothing to the Jihadists, in as much as their murderous intentions are executed and
3. The Jihadists also believed that Ogbomoso is undisputedly a "Baptist City". The sight of mighty cathedrals seems to be a threat to Islam. As a result in their warped minds, Ogbomoso has to go down.

Could it be that this Imam is set to achieve these sinister's agenda? Could it be this Imam is surreptitiously imposed on Ogbomosoland to wage war against the land and religiously conquered it's people? Is there an underground plot to cause chaos in Ogbomosoland as a means of destroying Christianity and. Christian monuments?

How I wish someone will provide answers to the above questions to reassure us that we are save in our father's land.

Let me also remind us that historically Ogbomosoland has been a thorn in the neck of the Fulani Jihadist. The expansionists agenda of the Fulani warriors was aborted at Ogbomoso. Our fathers and warriors stopped the Fulani incursion into the Yorubaland via Ilorin. Due to the bravery and resilience of our forefathers, our city has never been conquered by any internal or external aggressors. Unfortunately all the efforts of our heroes past are about to be wasted. The enemies have clandenstically got us through the mix multitude. Now we have the Fulani and the Saudi apologist at the helm of affairs of Islam in Ogbomosoland and like play peace has eluded us.

Is this Imam foisted on Ogbomosoland to achieve the long year aim of Fulani Jihadist? Is he planning to subtly conquer Ogbomosoland through religious violence? What are the roles of Ilorin Emirate in all this imbroligo? Who is bankrolling the Chief Imam?

Kabiyesi Jimoh Oladunni Oyewumi Ajagungbade III will be regretting endorsing this trouble for Ogbomosoland. He will be regretting that the peaceful and progressing city he toiled to build for almost five decades is about to be raised down by infantile religious zealots who care less about progress and development but about reporting the confusion they are creating to the Saudi Princes to make more money.

Baba will be sad that a united city he build and held together for almost five decades has been shattered in less than five years after his demise by a garulous and vitriolic young man whose goal is only to impress the young and thoughtless religious brigands.

I call on every sensible Ogbomoso sons and daughter to nip this coming inferno in the bud before it consumes us.

The arrant nonsense and rascality being displayed against our King is enough. Oba meji o le wa nilu. If the Imam feels or he is being deceived to believe he is greater than Soun, he is acting in foolishness. Can he dare do such to Ajagungabe III? Ta lo to gbena woju Ekun lai fara gbogbe?

Is it a must that a Muslim must be Soun of Ogbomosoland?

I have never seen where Imam of Ibadanland arrogantly addresses Olubadan. It has never occurred that an Imam will disparage Alaafin. Have you ever heard any Imam of Ile-Ife spewing balderdashes against Ooni?

Who is this Imam gan self? What has he achieved in life that others have not? There are thousands of noble Ogbomoso sons and daughters who know Al-Quaran more than he does and can lead Ogbomoso Muslims in peace and harmony. The Imam should please rest and spare us his arrogant diatribes.

Anyways. The Imam never stay for so long in Ogbomosoland. He has no stakes in the city. His family even disown him. If Ogbomoso is on fire, he'll disappear and look elsewhere to continue his religious proselytization.

Therefore, let the elders in Islam in Ogbomosoland call a solemn assembly and put this young man to where he belongs before he scatter the house.
