Nigerian-Born Chido Obi Martin Completes Medical Tests Ahead of Manchester United Move

Nigerian-born football talent Chido Obi Martin has completed the first part of his medical tests ahead of a move to Manchester United.

The young forward, who recently departed Arsenal, was significantly influenced by former Manchester United star Ruud Van Nistelrooy in his decision to join the Red Devils.

The official announcement may be delayed as the deal awaits clearance from the Premier League's five-step investigation process. However, all aspects of the transfer are reportedly set to be finalized.

Born in Glostrup, a Copenhagen suburb, to Nigerian Igbo parents, Obi is eligible to represent Denmark, England, and Nigeria at the international level. He has had a diverse youth international career, making five appearances for Denmark's under-16 side in late 2022 before briefly switching allegiance to England in early 2023.

However, he returned to the Danish national setup later that year, scoring twice in three games for the under-16 team and earning a call-up to the Danish under-17 squad. His impressive performances have marked him as a promising talent, and his move to Manchester United is eagerly anticipated by fans and pundits alike.
