In a bid to boost morale and professionalism within the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has approved the distribution of new kits and uniforms to officers of other ranks.

This development was announced by the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, in a statement issued on Saturday. The initiative is part of the IGP’s broader vision to enhance the welfare and working conditions of police personnel across the country.

“This initiative underscores the Inspector-General’s commitment to fostering a better-equipped and more motivated workforce, essential for the safety and security of all Nigerians,” Adejobi said.

He also expressed optimism about the future, noting that with the approval of the 2025 budget, more welfare-focused projects are on the horizon to further support officers in their duties.

The new kits and uniforms are expected to improve the professional appearance of officers and reflect the force’s dedication to maintaining a high standard of service delivery.

This move is seen as a step toward restoring public confidence in the police while encouraging officers to perform their roles effectively and with renewed dedication.

The Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to continuous improvement highlights the importance of equipping and motivating its personnel to ensure national security and public safety.
