Former Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello Walks Free After Meeting Bail Conditions

In a dramatic turn of events, former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has regained his freedom from the Kuje Minimum Custodial Centre in Abuja. This comes after fulfilling the bail conditions set by a Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court, marking a significant moment in his legal battle.

 

The news was confirmed by Adamu Duza, spokesperson for the FCT Command of the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS). “He [Yahaya Bello] has been released after meeting the bail conditions. He was released this [Friday] evening,” Duza announced.
