Facebook Ban Won't Silence My Support For Tinubu, Says Rarara
"Facebook Ban Won't Silence My Support for Tinubu, Says Rarara
Popular singer Rarara has vowed to continue singing praises of President Tinubu despite his Facebook page being deleted. The page, which had over 1 million followers, was removed on Saturday after some Nigerians mass-reported him for sharing a song that praised Tinubu amidst economic hardship.
Rarara's song claimed that "Tinubu has made Nigeria great" and that "Northerners have said goodbye to hunger, insecurity, and poverty." He argued that Tinubu deserves a solidarity march for his achievements, citing initiatives like the Livestock Ministry, Northwest Development Commission, and local government autonomy.
Rarara's comments come as some Nigerians plan to protest economic hardship in early August. However, he joins others like Yul Edochie and Portable in urging patience and support for Tinubu. In contrast, activist DJ Switch has called for unity ahead of the protest.
Despite the Facebook ban, Rarara remains committed to using his platform to promote Tinubu's efforts, promising that Nigerians will appreciate the president's work within the next three months."
