FG rewards 18 civil servants with cars, laptops

The Federal Government of Nigeria rewarded 18 outstanding civil servants with cars, laptops, and other prizes at the 2025 Civil Service Awards Night. The awardees were recognized for their exceptional contributions to public service reform.

Top Awardees:

- Dr. Bahijjatu Hadiza, Federal Ministry of Environment, received the presidential star prize, which includes:
    - An SUV
    - A laptop
    - An award plaque
    - A foreign short course
    - A masterclass program
    - An award certificate
- Chukwudi Ekwenugo, Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy, received:
    - An SUV
    - N500,000 cash prize
    - A laptop
    - A foreign short course

Other Prizes:

- Cash prizes ranging from N250,000 to N500,000
- Laptops
- Housing benefits
- Professional development opportunities

The Head of Service of the Federation, Didi Walson-Jack, encouraged other civil servants to remain motivated, saying, "Recognition may take time, but it will come. Do your work so well that it cannot be ignored" .
