APC Reconsiders Ndume's Senate Whip Position After Apology

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee (NWC), led by Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, has summoned Senator Ali Ndume to discuss his recent comments against President Bola Tinubu, which led to his removal as Senate Whip. Following the meeting, the party expressed satisfaction with Ndume's apology and plans to convey it to the Senate leadership to review their position.

Ndume acknowledged that he should have addressed his concerns through party channels instead of public forums. He expressed his commitment to the party and acknowledged the importance of internal communication.

The APC NWC views the matter as a "family issue" and seeks to resolve it amicably. Dr. Ganduje stated that the party will write to the National Assembly, conveying Ndume's apology, with the hope that they will reconsider their decision.

This development indicates a potential reversal of Ndume's removal as Senate Whip, pending the Senate's review of the situation.
