5th Year Remembrance:Sen Abiola Ajimobi, an Exceptional Political leader. He will Continue To Be Remembered For His Patriotism,Says Chief Sunday Dare. 

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communications, Chief Sunday Dare CON, FNIS, has joined family members, friends and political gladiators in the country for 5th years remembrance of the former governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi.

Ajimobi, who governed the state for two consecutive terms of eight years, died on June 25, 2020 at the age of 70 years and at the time of his death, he was the deputy national chairman (South) of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a statement released on Wednesday, Chief Sunday Dare described late Abiola Ajimobi as a humble and caring leader who contributed immensely to the development of oyo state and Nigeria at large.

Noting that,late Ajimobi will continue to be remembered for his commitment to good governance, transparency, due process, and patriotism.

" It’s been five year since we lost His Excellency, Senator Isiaq Ajimobi.  A highly cerebral leader, diligent public servant, and a seasoned administrator who undertook every assignment with diligence and a high level of integrity.

He made significant contributions to the development of Oyo state and the country at large. He was a committed patriot who dedicated his life to the service of his fatherland both in the private and public sectors.

We will continue to remember him for his commitment to good governance, transparency, due process, and patriotism. May God Almighty continued to grant him peaceful rest and look after the beautiful family, friends and political associates he left behind ". Chief Dare concluded
