"President Tinubu and Governor Sanwo-Olu Celebrate Nigerian Doctor's Guinness World Record Achievement"

 

Nigerian doctor and artist, Fola David, has made history by setting a new Guinness World Record for the largest painting by an individual. President Bola Tinubu and Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, have congratulated David on his remarkable achievement.

 

David broke the previous record of 629.98 square meters, held by Ravi Soni from India, and set a new record of 1000 square meters of art during his six-day attempt at the Onikan Stadium in Lagos. His artwork, titled "Unity in Diversity," showcases his exceptional talent and dedication to his craft.

 

President Tinubu took to Instagram to congratulate David, writing, "Congratulations to Dr. Fola David for completing his attempt at making the world's largest hand-drawing by an individual, 'Unity in Diversity.' It is a remarkable achievement, and we are filled with great pride and admiration for this accomplishment."

 

Governor Sanwo-Olu also extended his congratulations, highlighting David's contributions during the COVID-19 pandemic. "From the challenging days of the pandemic where he was a #COVID19Hero at our Onikan Isolation Centre to breaking world records at our Onikan Stadium (Mobolaji Johnson Arena), Dr. Fola David has been a beacon of excellence and service," Sanwo-Olu wrote on X.com.

 

David's achievement is a testament to his hard work and dedication, and his recognition by the President and Governor is a well-deserved honor. His artwork will undoubtedly inspire others to strive for excellence, and his legacy will be remembered for years to come.
