Yilwatda’s Emergence Will Deepen Internal Democracy – APC UK
The United Kingdom chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed confidence that the emergence of Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda as the party’s new National Chairman will strengthen internal democracy and foster unity within the party.
Chairman of APC UK, Tunde Doherty, who also leads the APC Committee of Diaspora Chairmen, conveyed this in a congratulatory message, noting that Yilwatda’s leadership qualities, integrity, and experience were pivotal to his appointment.
“Prof. Yilwatda assumes office at a crucial time when his vision and political insight are vital for the party’s cohesion and democratic growth,” Doherty said.
He assured the new chairman of the diaspora community’s readiness to collaborate in advancing the APC and the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu.
Yilwatda was appointed during the party’s 14th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held Thursday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. He succeeds Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, who resigned last month due to health concerns.
Doherty also called on APC members in the UK and across the diaspora to remain dedicated to the party’s ideals and work towards its success in future elections.
